A global construction summit will be held in New York on 11th April by ENR (Engineering News-Record). The summit, to be held in ENR’s Headquarters in New York, would reportedly focus on “strategies for growth in global markets”.
The summit, meant for senior construction professionals, is expected to be attended by construction project owners, developers, manufacturers of building products, project management and construction management companies, government officials and policy makers, technical firms, engineers, architects, contractors etc. from accross the world.
This scheduled confluence of some of the best minds in the construction arena would try to have a panoramic view on global opportunities on growth and seek solutions to some of the bigger challenges. Besides presenting good networking opportunities for those looking forward to expand their horizons, the conference is scheduled to discuss topics like global economic outlook for 2012, learning about projects underway globally, the big picture in global construction, global skyscrapers, mergers & acquisitions Vs organic growth among others.
Incidentally, the event occurs in tandem with the popular 47th Award of Excellence programme by ENR itself.
